Google finally dips its toe into advertising itself

Google has built its huge enterprise up on very little advertising and after 11 years of being a company has finally created a marketing campaign in the UK and 5 other countries. There aims is to increase its market share even further over Microsoft. The “Gone Google” Campaign will focus on the 1.7m businesses the use Google services.
Although this a proactive response to Yahoo/Microsoft’s attempt at winning market share, I’m not convinced that it is necessary as the product and service that Google offer is still superior to anything else out there both for the customer/end user and the client/business
