Every marketing/advertising agency is looking for a new and innovative ways of advertising services and products, after all that is there job, so I am pleased to see that the agency tasked with advertising the band Editors new album has come up with a novel idea. The band have created a treasure hunt on Google Street View by using embedded images and tracks to promote their 3rd album titled “In this Light and on this Evening”. This also highlights how new Google applications can be used to generate revenue, it is no long just paid search and display.
